The role of scoping studies in the design of education programmes
We will share our experience of designing and implementing a large-scale scoping study as a pre-cursor to teacher development projects. As M&E, scoping studies enable us to identify areas of successes and challenges in the related fields without being linked to project objectives and aims. This helps establishing baselines and subsequently support the design of M&E frameworks by taking into account a wide range of stakeholders' needs.
In this webinar, participants will learn about taking a bottom-up to help their organisation design projects with an open mind using a mixed-method approach in scoping studies. We will describe the process and tools we used and share insight and findings of the scoping studies.
