Generating Lessons from COVID 19 Response for Building Resilient Monitoring and Evaluation Systems

The objective of this activity is to generate lessons from the COVID 19 response to help in decision making by governments, stakeholders and the media in building strong monitoring and evaluation systems. We will generate lessons of how the government, stakeholders and the media generated and used M&E data in shaping the response to COVID 19. The meeting will highlight among other things the following:

- How did M&E play a role in the COVID 19 response?
- How prepared was the country in generating data for COVID 19?
- What challenges were faced?
- How did the country address the data challenges?
- How do we build resilient strong systems for the future?

The overall goal is to show the value of M&E in the COVID response, identify gaps and generate lessons that can be used to develop resilient systems in the future.
