Evidence Matters Campaign Events
During the gLOCAL Week 2021, EvalPartners and its networks will hold multiple events and sessions under the theme of "Evidence Matters" which is the title of the campaign implemented under the EvalPartners Flagship Program 2.
The Evidence Matters Flagship Program 2:
• Advocates for broadening the base of “uses” and “users” of evaluation, globally
• Promotes the use of Evidence as a powerful tool to inform the implementation of Agenda 2030
• Reconfirms the commitments to the Global Evaluation Agenda (EvalAgenda) through VOPEs & global partners
It further aims to raise the profile of evaluation amongst a wide range of stakeholders. Within the framework of this program, EvalPartners is investigating and responding to demand for evaluation with new stakeholders, simplifying evaluation language for better communication, generating key messages and easily disseminating communication tools for use by the evaluation sector.
We will hold multiple sessions through-out the gLOCAL Evaluation Week. All events will be under one theme of "Evidence Matters" - few of the broad workstreams will include the followings:
1. Progress on the 2020 EvalAgenda: Where Have We Seen Progress and Where Do We Need to Focus Now?
2. Building Forward Better: Towards a Renewed Global Evaluation Agenda
3. Resilient National M&E: What Could Be Achieved Through a UN Resolution on Country-Led Evaluation?
