Responsible data in Monitoring and Evaluation (RDiME)
Last year, during gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2020 MERL Tech and CLEAR-Anglophone Africa held three virtual events under the theme “How to Conduct Digital Merl during Covid-19”. A wide range of practitioners from African countries and beyond, representing academic institutions, multilateral development institutions, civil society organizations, private sector, and government, signed up to attend the three events. The discussion informed next steps for CLEAR-AA, and collaborated with partners to put together the Responsible Data in Monitoring and Evaluation (RDiME) guide that all African practitioners can benefit from. The objective of the RDiME session at gLOCAL2021 is to share an overview of the upcoming Responsible Data in Monitoring and Evaluation guidance, where we are now since the conversation at gLOCAL2020.
