Accelerating results on SDGs: UNICEF’s partnership with and support to African governments on embedding evaluative evidence in voluntary national reviews

The goal of this session is to demonstrate the importance of embedding evaluative evidence in voluntary national reviews (VNRs). UNICEF will share its experience and unique position in supporting the African governments through training and targeted technical support, and governments will share their views on the difference this initiative has made on the quality and credibility of their VNRs and their way forward on achieving SDGs. There will be space for discussion between presenters and participants throughout the session.
