State-led evaluations and sector specific evalautions in Africa should be conducted in relation to long term development plans. This will in turn inform government decision-making to be cognisant and deliberately in utilising resources effectively and efficiently. Using the example of Education within the 2030 SDG Agenda and AU Agenda 2063, during this online event, we discuss evidence in terms of statistics and figures that has been provided by government in realising meaningful educational objectives.
